Abhivyakti: Crafted Cities: Weaving Culture into Urban Fabric

Traditional crafts are deeply woven into the identity of our cities, shaping their architecture, culture, and community life. As urban development accelerates, the role of artisanship in city-making is often overlooked. How can we integrate and preserve these crafts while balancing heritage with modernity?

At MAATI, we invite architecture students to share their thoughts on the intersection of crafts and urban spaces and how they can be incorporated into the curriculum.

Selected perspectives will be featured in MAATI KATHA, Volume 1, Issue 2. This is a great opportunity to share your thoughts and contribute to the future of architectural education.
