We are thrilled to announce that Ar. Zarna Shah, Founder and Principal Architect of MAATI, proudly presented as a Student Scholar at the prestigious Association for Preservation Technology International (APTI) Annual Conference 2025. The conference was held in Providence, Rhode Island, from November 11–15, 2025, focusing on the theme: “Revolution & Innovation: The Power of Water, Craft & Architecture.” This honour reflects MAATI’s ongoing commitment to integrating traditional methodologies with modern conservation technologies to safeguard India’s architectural and cultural legacy. Ar. Shah shared insights from her current PhD research, which focuses on developing a holistic framework for the documentation and conservation of vernacular architecture, emphasising community-centred approaches.
