Ar. Sanjukta Das, presented a paper titled “Cultural Heritage of Majuli Island, its Significance and Contribution towards Global Tourism” at 6th UNESCO UNITWIN Conference at KU Leuven, Belgium organised by UNESCO in April 2019.
The conference gave multiple opportunities to discuss recent research insights and practical experience from researchers and professionals all over the world in the field of heritage conservation and sustainable tourism and also helped to reach possibilities to develop one’s collegial network among various groups of professionals and colleagues. The conference took place in the beautiful heritage town of Leuven, Belgium wherein the organisers planned a heritage walk through the city discovering its various world heritage sites and buildings.
