Acknowledgement for contribution towards community space design at Guwahati, Assam

MAATI (Earlier known as Samanuvidhatr) received an acknowledgement from the local Bodo community of Bakrapara, Khanapara, Guwahati for their contribution towards preparing the master plan and detailed drawings of Bathow Mandir, Bakrapara.

As per the traditional belief systems of the Bodo community they worship the “Bathow plant” (belonging to the cactus family) and based on that they perform various traditional rituals and folk art forms.  The aim of this project is to have a designated space for the community for their religious functions, festivals and traditions. Catering to this the Bathow temple complex was planned as per the traditional and local requirements of the community along with having traditional architectural features of the Bodo community temples. MAATI is also privileged to have long term collaboration with the Bathow temple committee in future for any kind of community service.
